About Children:

YAHWEH SHALOM ORPHAN CHILDREN HOME

A Generation Lost:
Shocking but True: India has the largest population of street children and Orphans, more than 11 million, according to Conservative Estimates by UNICEF.
Children are on the street because they have run away from home (in many instances due to rural poverty), are orphans or live on the pavement with their families. There are twice as many boys on the streets as girls.
Some children are part of organized gangs that beg, sing and perform, clean trains, pick pockets, steal or peddle drugs. Almost half are self-employed. They sell flowers or other goods, work as a rag pickers, at tea stalls, as porters ad loaders, on catering assignments, as hawkers or other kinds of casual work. Most work long hours 10 to 12 hours a day. Estimated 125,000 street children each in Mumbai, Kolkatta and Delhi, with 45,000 in Bangalore same way in Nidubrolu 9,000.

9,000 Street, Orphan Children In Nidubrolu: where we live (NIDUBROLU)
Our hearts are burdened as every single day we watch the multitude of dispossessed street children live a life below human standards. While most of us are busy with our life and success, we fail to realize the agony and pain these innocent children go through just to get a piece of stale bread. Their suffering is beyond our wildest comprehension. In such a scenario we at Yahweh Shalom Home – India help as motto, such children get a life where they’re able to enjoy being loved, a life where they are set free from bondages whether it’s physical or spiritual. We help them start a fresh by educating them and rebuilding them to stand up on their own feet so that one day, they too will become socially responsible citizens of India and to citizen of Heaven.

The True Home : (Yahweh Shalom Home):
Since 2008 John and Priscilla kept such needy children with them in their rented house after much prayer and waiting upon the Lord, the Yahweh Shalom Home is going to be establishing shortly in this year 2010. That is our prayer. In this 150 sq. meter accommodation which is meant for only two small families about 30-45 destitute Orphan children can live in this with small worship Center. God has given us a small place and praying to start construction-work. For this we are coming before you humbly to request your helping hands to support for this building construction as shelter for Orphans. We welcome your financial support.

Your gifts are applied as designated.
